Our kennels are a “home away from home” experience for your pups. Your pets will have heating throughout the winter and colder months of the year and will have air conditioning during the warmer months. We provide cots and clean blankets for them to rest/sleep on. There are always lights and music on during the day and night for them to be more comfortable throughout the day.
Each of our 4 kennels has and indoor/outdoor run. If your pup is social, they will be let out in a play group several times a day. If not social, your dog will be outside several times daily in a grassy play area with toys and individual attention away from other dogs. We go out once and hour or once every 2 hours at most to check on, play with and take your pup for a walk.
A happy, healthy, and safe dog is our top priority here at Evergreen Dog Retreat. You can be confident knowing your dog will be well-cared for while they run, play, and romp around in fenced in yard. We provide both dog and human interaction that benefits mental stimulation and socialization.
We are open to accept dogs for doggy daycare or overnight stays. Dogs who will be staying overnight with us will be let out one last time at 9pm and then tucked into bed. Dogs will awake at 7:00am and start the day all over again.

If you are looking for a place to board your pups, this is the place to go. Jen & family are absolutely amazing. She was very well organized when I arrived to drop my boys off and spent time playing with them prior to me leaving. Our 9 year old Kane had been boarded before, but this was the first time we have boarded Loki our 3 year old. Before arriving I was a little nervous on how Loki would do, but I was at ease before I left. Both boys made themselves right at home. Jen was fantastic about communicating & sending some pics while we were gone. She really won my complete trust when she messaged me that their were severe storms coming for the area and if she noticed the boys getting to excited or scared in the kennels that she would go out and bring them into her home until things subsided. I can’t tell you what a relief it was to hear that. You see our boys stayed with Jen in December and didn’t even think to mention to her that Kane is absolutely terrified of storms. Didn’t think it would be an issue in December, but Jen was on the ball already thinking of possibilities and reached out to me before I had a chance to call her. I can not recommend Jen & Evergreen Dog Retreat Enough. She is top notch five star!!!
I highly recommend Evergreen Dog Retreat located in Montello, off of CTY B. I was impressed with a brand new building made specifically for dogs. Loki could go in and outside at his leisure, with the doggy door leading outside to a gated yard closed at night to ensure Loki’s safety! It is a very clean and home like environment with a radio playing for your pet. Our first time using a dog babysitter/kennel we were very nervous & feeling anxious to leave our dog somewhere other then home. Lilly took excellent care of Loki! She stayed with him when we left to get to know him by playing with him and taking him on walks on their 20 acres of wilderness which Loki absolutely loved! Lilly even took the time to FaceTime us and send us pictures while we were gone to ensure us that he was doing good! Prices are very reasonable! I would definitely take Loki back with ease on our next family vacation! The Mann family are extremely kind and loving to all animals! Rest assured, your dog will get 5 star service here!
Wonderful caring people. I love the fact that they give you text updates. This is my go to place.
We boarded our 9 month old puppy Clarke last week. We had stopped by a month before to check out Jen’s place and felt it was very clean and had a great outdoor space for our energetic baby to run. We have never kenneled Clarke before and were feeling sad when we dropped him off. Within a short time, Jen sent us pictures and let us know Clarke was adjusting well. It really put our minds at ease. She sent us photos all thought our trip and we could see he was having fun. When we picked up Clarke, he did not want to leave. I could tell how much love Jen has for animals and will take him back there in a heartbeat.
